    3. Clever. Convoluted, but...clever. The problem is, you missed the point, entirely. Identity theft is a burgeoning problem. Do you want to be responsible for making it possible for a crook to assume your son's or daughter's (or, brother's/sister's/cousins'/far-flung kin's) identity? To set up credit card/bank accounts in their name, then ruin their credit? Yes, privacy may be in steadily diminishing supply. The kick may be inevitable, but we do not have to bend over and invite it, willingly. And we certainly have no right to place the privacy of others in jeopardy without their prior written consent.
