I have a paperback "The Birth of America" copyright 1971 Mankind Magazine, that contains selected readings from Mankind Magazine. I believe this magazine was in existence for only a few years. Though I have a few issues, I don't have the one with this article. The article is "Meet Wiley and Micajah Harpe: Unkind Men" by G.G. Hathaway copyright is 1968. Joanne
