Don't know about motels, etc. in Marshall County, but we have stayed in motels across the river, in St. Clairsville, a short drive away by I-70. There are three or four motels there, all at the exit for US 40 - Red Roof Inn, Days Inn, etc. All were pretty good, clean, and reasonably priced. There is a site for Belmont County (St. Clairsvile) giving particulars on motels, etc. and with a search you can probalby find it easily enough.
