Hello list. I've been hitting my head against the wall and I'm now writing to you in hope that someone can help me. I as searching for Thomas BAYLESS (BAYLES, BAYLIS, BAYLISS) who was born in Virginia betweem 1815 and 1822. He married Eliza HUGGINS born 1823 in Tyler/Wetzel County and died in 1919. I don't have their marriage date. (They are listed in the 1850 and 1860 census of Marshall County that's why I'm writing here.) Their children are Jonathon b1846, Mary b1848, James b1849, Amanda b1851, DeClifford b1852, Lunetta b1855 and Indiana b1858. Jonathon moved to California and I have information on him. Amanda was my gg Grandmother. And I have just found information on DeClifford. Thomas had to die before 1870. He's not in the census with Eliza. Grand Pap Bayless (I'm thinking Thomas' dad or grandfather) lived to be over 100. He said one day that he was tired of living and went out to Grape Island and slit the back of his knees and killed himself. I'm looking for any informaiton on Thomas or Pap Bayless or the story on Grape Island? Can anyone help? Or could someone tell me where Thomas or Eliza is buried at? Anything would be helpful? Thanks so very much. Grace Buckley _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. Visit http://www.msn.com
