Good Day Everyone! I began genealogy over three years ago and have been at it nearly every day since. I thoroughly enjoy it! The maternal surnames I am researching in Marshall County, WV are MATUSKA,/MATUSKY, BENCUR, GIBAS, PALUGA/POLUGA and FURTO/FURTOV. I believe these relatives immigrated from Czechoslovakia beginning in the mid to late 1800's. I am also interested in these surnames for Marshall County: BOBASH/BOBASCH, HLADIS, BRNICKY, SKVARKA, SHUTWAY, KACMARAK, KOVACIK. Just a thought...If any of this group's members are lucky enough to have a copy of their ancestor's ship manifest, wouldn't it be wonderful if we could share the other surnames on the manifest?
