Nelson & Sarah [SHAFFER] WILDMAN came to the Wetzel & adjacent counties after 1850 from Greene co., PA. Nelson WILDMAN [c1815, prob. PA--1871, Wetzel co., WV] & Sarah [SHAFFER] WILDMAN [c1822--??]; after Nelson's death Sarah married Isaac LOWE. Nelson's brother, Justin WILDMAN, also came to the area with his family. Some of the Wildman families lived at Pine Grove (outside New Martinsville, WV); Justine's family lived in the Tyler county area. Would like to correspond with any descendants of these families.
