Hello, My name is Diane DeMore. I am originally from New Jersey, but, now live in Texas. I do genealogy, with a special interest in finding relatives that are still with us, but, have never met. My husband is Thomas A DeMore and is a descendant of (great great grandson) George Evans and Elizabeth Yoder. His great grandmother was Della Henrietta Evans who married Thomas A Harvey. They moved to New Jersey before 1891 where my husbands grandmother was born. Other children included Jesse who married a woman also named Della, they are buried in Main Street Cemetery. Sisters Annie and Myrtle that married brothers, William and Leonard Strait, respectively and a brother Leroy. There were also children from Georges first marriage and Elizabeths first marriage, last name Oliver. I know that Jesse and Myrtle had several children, no information on Annie for children and only dates for Leroy. I tried to contact , by mail, several persons with these last names, that are still in the area. However it has been almost a year and I have gotten no replies to any of the letters sent. Is there anyone there that could check church records for any of these names for birth, marriage or death records/burials? I would be most grateful. OR, does any of this or the names ring a bell to anyone there, that might know someone and ask them to please contact me. Perhaps they did not think the letter was genuine or sincere.
