I also have FOUR Jesse BURCHs--but not the same FOUR that you have. I have three of the ones you list and then I have a different fourth, and I do not have one that you have Tammy. We all seem to agree that Jesse and Elizabeth (?) BURCH are the parents of this mess. I only have three children for them: Eliza (married Robert McHENRY), Zedephariah (or Zephaniah which is probably correct because that is what his will says), and Richard T. I do not show Actia (although I know that she existed, just can not prove parentage yet), John or Jesse. Most definitely NOT John or Jesse. I have no Jesse BURCH married to a Zulia, and you are showing Actia as their child. My #2 Jesse is "Jessy" (note the spelling of Jessy which came from his marriage record in Marshall County). He is indeed the son of Richard T. and Isabellah (McHENRY) BURCH. This "Jessy" married Mary POWELL on April 30, 1867 in Marshall County and their children are not known to me. My #3 Jesse is "Jesse B. BURCH" and is indeed the son of Zephaniah and Ruth (McHENRY) BURCH. He married Maria Jane WILLIAMS on June 19, 1863 and they had the following children: Charles Orion; Lillie Mae; Edith; George; Jesse; and John W. My #4 Jesse is Jesse Burch the son of Jesse B. and Maria Jane (WILLIAMS) Burch. Concerning the children of Zephaniah who married Ruth McHENRY, I have their children as: Talbott; Hardisty; Jesse B.; James; Benjamin; Joseph; Rolla A. (note that you have Rolla "W"--I have Rolla "A"; Charles; William, and Lemuel. I do NOT have either Amanda or Robert. I also agree with Vern that Eliza BURCH married Robert McHENRY the son of James and Rebecca (WHITE) McHENRY and I do have 13 children for them. Also interesting to note is something that comes from the old West Virginia Estate Settlements Book which includes early Ohio County is the listing for the will of Zepheniah BURCH, October 19, 1828: Dev: Ruth, Jesse, John, Eleanor and Jamima BURCH, Jennett, Ruth, Delila and Hiram CURTIS.
