Hello Marshall Co. Listers, Thanks Linda, that is so wild! That Elizabethtown is MOUNDSVILLE- I appreciate your sharing the great article on it's history with me. That clears up that. I will pass it along to the McCulloughs researching the ALLMAN and MARTIN descendants. Any MARTIN or ALLMAN descendants of Bonham and Nancy/Anne (McCullough) Martin and Benjamin and Mary (McCullough) Allman- I would love to hear from you. We are trying to find the children of the Descendants of John and Sarah McCullough who were in Washington/Greene Co., PA, from 1789. My McCullough line went from Greene Co., PA to TYLER CO., WV- JOSEPH and ELEANOR (GRANDON) MCCULLOUGH. Joseph and Eleanor's children married into RESSEGGER, MILLER, FOGG, MASTERS, FINDLEY, and FLUHARTY families. Their son Joseph L. McCullough and wife Malinda GORBY's children married A.W. RICE, J. Clarence STARKEY, Thomas GIBLIN, Rebecca E. SHEPHARD, Cora PIPES, Emma Elizabeth MAURY, and Jenkins M. C. MILLER. My great Grandparents, REV. LEWIS ELSWORTH and IRENA FRANCES (FLOYD) RESSEGGER, lived in Moundsville and both died there. Rev. Ressegger was a Methodist minister. I am still looking for Rev. Lewis Ressegger's brothers and sisters, the children of JACOB and SAMANTHA A. (MCCULLOUGH) RESSEGGER, who lived in Wetzel County in the 1860's-1880's. Their children would have been born after 1866, probably in Wetzel County. Samantha (McCullough) Ressegger remarried to a Mr. KING, after Jacob died, and had a few more children. Anyone with RESSEGGERS (also spellled RESECKER, REASECKER, RESSIGER, RUEGSEGGER, etc.) please contact me if we haven't already connected. Have a colorful day, Peg in WV [email protected]
