Hi everyone! I just attended Ruthann Burton's virtual genealogy society meeting, and I loved it. I really enjoyed the format and presentation. It is one of the best biographies I have read!!!! Ver creative. It also reminded me to ask all of you what you know about Loudenville. My great-grandmother, Ella Wycoff Sampson, lived in Loudenville in a little house for years. Her house was moved during a big flood, but she stayed there anyway until her last few years when she moved to Moundsville. I know where Loudenville is (I tell everyone that it is a suburb of Cameron, hehehehe) and I have been there many times, but does anyone know any information about its history? I have a theory that it may have been founded by the Loudenslager family many, many years ago, but I have not been able to confirm it. I lived in Loudenville with my great-grandmather for the first few months of my life, so I would like to know more about it. Thanks in advance, Christina Parsons
