Hi Linda: Jacob Pyles was born circa 1825 PA and died 16 MAR 1885, buried at Jolliffe Cemetery, Silver Hill, Wetzel Co, WV. He was the s/o John Pyles & Mary. Mary Ann Burge was born circa 1832 VA and married Jacob Pyles on 18 FEB 1847, Marshall Co, WV. Book 1 pg 48. She was the d/o Elijah Burge & Elizabeth Goddard. Elizabeth Goddard was the d/o William Goddard & Elizabeth. William Goddard was the s/o Francis Lane Goddard & Mary. #205 Franklin District, Marshall County 1870 Piles, Jacob 50 PA, Mary A 36 VA, Elizabeth A 22 VA, Julia A 18 VA, Mary E 16 VA, John L 11 VA, Vandiver 10 VA, Wilfred 5 WV I do not have an 1880 census listing for Jacob, he must have moved back to Wetzel County.
