Philip Nice b 1812 in Moundsville WV mar Rebecca Meek. For years heard he was raised in York Ridge area but something I read makes me think that this might be Fork Ridge. Checking online census found a Caleb Nice but could not find a firm connection beween him & Philip. Can anyone give suggestions as to other places to look. I have him & his family in Washingto Co. Oh. in 1850. Is there anything written about the Fork Ridge area? Anything about churches in that area with their congregation records? Would land records be in VA or OH or PA for that time period?
