I am interested in any information about the James and Elaenor Foster family of Beeler's Station, Webster District, Marshall County, WV. James was born in Ireland abt 1784 and moved to Beeler's Station sometime before 1826, he died in Beeler's Station in 1870. I have gathered most of the information about the family that is on the Marshall County Genealogy Web site. In the information about Beeler's Station (on the Web site) it says that a James Foster and John Wilson established the first Beeler's Station Church in 1826 (from History of Marshall County 1984). Is this church still active, if so their archives may contain some information on Foster and Wilson. (I'm not sure if this is the same James Foster I'm looking for, but it may be). I can not find where James was buried. I've gone through all the cemetery listings on the Web site and can't find James, his wife Elaenor, several of his family members; nor Adeline (Foster) Fuller his daughter. James was a farmer in Beeler's Station for over 50yrs. After his death his wife remained living there until her death. I find it hard to imagine that they would have buried James very far from home. I live in Florida, so it's a little tough to take off an afternoon and run up to Marshall County, WV to look things up. Any leads will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help you can give me.
