I have more info on Samuel McCreary of Hillsville, Mahoning Twp., Lawrence Co., PA. Don't forget this is only miles from Beaver Co., PA and from Mahoning Co., OH. His obit says: Samuel McCreary, one of Lawrence counties oldest citizens peacefully passed away at his home Nove. 23 (1893). He was respected and honored by all who knew him, and was one of Lawrence counties old land marks, passing his 83rd year the 10th of last Sept. (Born 09/10/1810) His death is a loss to the whole community. He was the eldest of a family of nine children, three of which survive him. He leaves one daughter, married, amd a widow (Lovina). I beleive he was once married to an Anna. And I believe, now, that Lovina was born in OH. The obit does not mention any sons. Can anyone help me place Samuel with his family?
