Your offer is so kind, Here is what I know. I have my grandfathers Illinois death certificate: Walter Charles STRICKLIN, 4/2/1878, Birth Place, Wheeling West Virginia. Name of Father: Edward STRICKLIN. maiden name of mother, Clara Day from Pittsburg, PA.. Information supplied by my uncle at time of death. However; in Ottawa Illinois Cemetery Walter's fathers name is George Edwin Stricklin- 1855-1935, and his wife Clara Day Stricklin, 1857-1924. I need to know who Walter Charles Stricklin family is and also, where does the MARSHAL name fit in, that he has on his wedding license? Walter Charles Marshal Stricklin. I believe George Edwin Stricklin to be the correct name for the father of Walter Charles Marshal Stricklin, but we have never been able to find the father of George Edwin Stricklin 1855 or 1856 born in Wheeling West Virginia.
