Sheri---the 1871 land owner's map for Marshall County...Washington Twp., West part, lists Geo. Magers, J. Magers, Mrs. J. Magers and D. Magers as each owning property on the southeast side of McClain Run. My current Marshall County Dept. of Transportation Hiway map shows this area is accessible on road #12/2 which can be reached from Hiway 250. D. Magers is the only only Magers family shown residing on the northwest side of McClain Run. The name Fairview Ridge is not listed on either the 1871 map or the current Highway map. The Highway map symbolizes a church with cemetery on the northside of Highway 250 about 1 mile before reaching road #12/2. There is another church and cemetery just south of road #12/2.....on road #36 (accessible from road #34, out of Moundsville by taking 4th Ave.) The church is on the northside and the cemetery on the southside of road #36, a few blocks apart. This road goes along Tom's Run and leads to Leach Run. Good luck on your search. Karen Bridgeman
