I have located my G. Grandfather in the 1930 census, as an inmate in the West Virginia Penitentiary in Marshall County, Washington District. Family rumor indicated he would be found there at this time, but I was rather surprised to actually locate him there as he has been extremely elusive! Is this the same place as the 'Moundsville Prison'? The one I have heard you can tour? Are there records available? If so, where are they located? thanks for any help, Linda
