Does anyone on the list have any idea what became of the following people who appear on the 1870 census of Marshall Co but not on the 1880? Judy, realizing this is a dumb question - Have you looked at any of the Agricultural census's? I attended a seminar led by a woman from Virginia. She did a couple of studies where she compared data from the regular census to the Agricultrual Census's and found many people that had not been identified on either one or the other. If some of the people stayed it may be worth a try.
