Taken from Moundsville Daily Echo Wed, Sept 11, 2002 James Howard Died Sept. 7 James Alexander Howard, 86, of Lorain, Oh, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain, following a short illness. He was born March 4, 1916 in Cameron, moved to Lorain in 1950. He served as a Tech Sgt in the U.S. Army during WWII. James was employed as a bull block operator for TRW. He is survived by his son, Fred Wressell of Berlin Heights, OH; three daughters, Beatrice Martinein in Sheffield Village, OH, Avonelle Webster of Hibbing, MN, Donna Hartmen of Lorain: 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; a brother Marion Keffer of Parkersburg, WV and 2 sisters, Louella Hudimac of Wheeling and Lillian Wright of Moundsville. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lorain, OH. Rev. Jim Gordon, pastor of Elyria Baptist Church officiated. Burial followed in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, OH.
