My McGary's come from Marshall Co., Va. and Washington Co., Pa. [and I don't know where else]. Thomas McGary b. ? d. 1905 Sarah Ann Grim Mar. 8, 1865 [Cemetery Record] d.Jan. 20, 1921 NOTE: Birth YEAR must be wrong as she would not be old enough to have children; possibly she was born 1856 ??? married date? 1856- possible birth of Sarah Ann Grim McGary 1866=10 yrs 1871=15 yrs. possible marriage date of Sarah and Thomas 1872=16 yrs. possible birth of Mary Melissa McGary 1873=17 yrs. 1874=18 yrs. possible birth of J. William McGary 1875=19 yrs. 1876 - Albert C. born Children: 1. Mary Melissa McGary [usually within 3 yrs ca. Sarah would have had 1st child = b. ca. ??] Mary died 1915 of Typhoid Fever 2. J. William McGary 3. Albert C. McGary b.Nov. 22, 1876 or 1877 d. Nov. 17, 1914 NOTE: Either Albert's birthdate or his mother's birthdate is wrong. Sarah would have only been 11 yrs old in 1876, 12 yrs. in 1877. Is it possible someone read the Cemetery Record wrong and maybe she was born in 1856 which would make her 20 yrs. old in 1876; and it would therefore be possible for her to have 2 children before Albert C. McGary. 4. Emma McGary d.? before Jan. 1921 ? 5. Edward McGary d. ? before Jan. 1921 ? 6. Sadie McGary d. ? before Jan. 1921 ? 7. John M. McGary b.Sept. 26, 1883 Cameron, W. Va. Thurs. Nov. 19, 1964 8. Earl E. McGary 9. Effie McGary Whiteman 10. George McGary 11. Myrtle McGary Murray Resided in Sparrows Point, Md. in 1964 per brother John M.'s obituary. In Sarah's Obit, William was living in Fairmont [W. Va. ?] part of Sarah's Obit states: .."Surviving children follow: J. William McGary of Fairmont; Earl, John, George, Effie, and Myrtle McGary, all of Washington, and one brother and one sister, John Grim of Freeport, and Mrs. Mary Kimbell of Rayland, Ohio."
