Jared along with much of his extendedd family migrated from Connecticut to settle upon bounty land in what later became Marshall County. Home was located near Terrell Ridge. Trying especially to determine parents for Jared's grandson, John Calvin Terrell who enlisted in the 12th US Infantry at Wheeling for 18 months service during the War of 1812. Local Universallist church may have records pertaining to Terrells.
