Good Morning, I have recently discovered that some of my potential ancestors were listed on various census' as "Mulatto". I did not find this disturbing, except for the fact that we had been told all of our lives we were French/Black Dutch/Indian. I also had been having lots of difficulty tracing most of my LUCAS ancestors.
