George W. Conner, born about 1844 in Marshall County, was the son of Edward Conner and Sarah Dowler. Edward was the son of Willliam Conner and Sarah Ann Carney (Kearney) both of whom were born in Delaware. Sarah was the daughter of Rev. George Dowler and Mary Barto.
