I don't think Virginia is the mother of Harry as it appears that John had only been married to Virginia for 15 years. She is apparently the mother of your John though. I did a quick marriage check on the Marshall County site which is hosted by Linda Fluharty and found a John Noble that married an Eliza Cain on 15 Aug 1839. I did not see a marriage record for Virginia which would have occurred about 1885. Hope this helps. There is quite a bit of information on Linda's site which another poster has given you a link to.
