There was also a lot of confusion for them as to how to answer the question of VA vs WVA. I think the age changes and people appearing & disappearing is likely from information given by neighbors. Sometimes the census information was given by an older child rather than the parents. All said and done, I am also convinced that these are the right Samuel & Lucinda. Debbie, I do have all of the census info you gave me. I sure wish there was a way to check the exact addresses. I'd like to find where Lydia, Sam & Lucinda are buried. I have a ton of unsorted info, much of which I got online. I'm so very busy with spring yard work, taxes & work I can't see straight. I'll be getting back to this line in a few weeks.
