I, too, have Wilkerson relatives. However, I know only that great uncle Leo Wilkerson sold shoes in Wichita, KS, probably in the 40's and 50's. Married Iris Scott who grew up in Parsons, Labette County, KS. Had one son Wallace Lea Wilkerson who now lives in TX. Did yours get to Kansas? Maureen

The other day I finally found the Wheeling Intelligencer & News Register online. I was upset to find that you cannot view obituaries online, except the name of the person. Marietta Times has it listed among other circulated newspapers. I emailed the webmaster and editor, but to no avail, have not received a reply to the request. I am asking that people start asking the newspaper to start listing the obitutaries on their webpage. I wanted to find my fiance and my son's great (great) uncle's information, and had to look at another local paper in the Ohio Valley. Thank you, Terri http://www.intellnews.net/ Email mailto:webmaster@theintelligencer.net

Hi Mary, The City County Public Library is not open at all on Sunday, and is only open until 5:00 on Saturday. Hope this helps. Susie Koehrsen
I will be making a business trip to West Virginia at the end of April. I am thinking of going to Marshall County when I have a free weekend. Is there anyone around on Saturday and Sunday at the library, or anywhere else I could do some research. I don't want to just drive around Cameron, taking pictures of my Grandfather Clell Richmond's place. And I'm not sure I could even find it. Help!! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Does anyone subscribe to a publication called the West Virginia Hillbilly? Can anyone tell me what, if anything, has happened to it? I subscribed last year and really enjoyed this publication because it contained information about people and places that I was familiar with. My mother renewed my subscription for 2002 as a Christmas present but I have not received an issue since December. I have tried calling (number disconnected), e-mailing and writing a letter (no response) to find out why my subscription hasn't been continued. If anyone can put me in touch with the paper or explain to me what has happened, I would appreciate it. Thanks! Frank Barrett
