Hello Rick; and all Burgess researchers in Logan Co. WV. Recently, I posted a message that concerns the children of Fernandez & Mary(McNeely) Burgess. Ransom was the only child of this couple I knew of. I did some sleuthing, and found another child named Ed Burgess, who is listed in the 1877- 1900 death records of Logan co. people. Ed died at age 17, on 6-1`4- 1894. The reporter was Dr. M.F. French,who listed death cause Pthesis Pulminicus.
