HI! i have an Annotated 1870 Boone Co. WV census book that shows some older Meadows such as John Meadows age 72...s/o Arris & Martha {Byrnside} Meadows....he would have been bc 1898 Joseph Meadows Sr. age 70....s/o same parents...bc 1800 William Meadows 62 ...s/o same parents....bc 1818 from looking at the approx. 18 seperate Meadows listed in this book, it seems they are ALL related to one another. If you look at Arris & Martha {Byrnside} Meadows at Ancestry [under a Family Tree listing] it says they also had a son named JAMES Meadows bn. 1792 in Monroe Co VA...but their last two children, Enoch bc 1812 was bn. in BOONE co WV/VA and the last one shown as Nancy bc 1817 in Fayette Co.... other children in-between were listed for being bn. in Kanawha & Greenbrier counties. i'm thinking this James Meadows who shows up in the 1830 Fayette Census could possibly belong to Arris & Martha, eh? if you don't have access to Ancestry, there are also several entries for the children of Arris & Martha Meadows at Rootsweb showing their children.
