Many of the Logan county youths were quartered at Cabwaylingo State Park, in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). The park was located on the Wayne/Mingo co. lines The Corps bullt the cabins,cleared the park land, and made other improvements.This was in 1938/39.I was elgible to enlist in the CCC program, but decided to stay at home and finish high school, at my parents urging.
