    3. Shelby, I have a question. Was it place on the National Historical Register or did the National Park Service acquire it?  I keep hearing about a park from everyone on the list and there was one mention about you can't mine (or something in a National Park). If it was acquired by the National Park Service then, yes it will be federal land. However, if it was added to the National Historical Register I believe that might be different. Here in Fayette County, we have houses, etc on the National Historical Register but they are not a part of the National Park Service as they are privately owned. The owners have certain guide lines that they must follow when it comes to renovating, etc. Just curious.
