[listed as wife! but i think she also s/b domestic help?] at www.gencircles.com the listing for the Elkins says that Mahulda or Mahala Elkins died on 4 March 1855... a few months after birth. i have tried every combination possible for Arthur & Nancy and almost have a feeling they could be deceased by 1880...or at least Arthur could be gone and Nancy possibly remarried? Harriet could be married by 1880 - -but i find no marriage record for her either.
