    3. I am so thrilled for my friend Maria, but more so. the awareness and publicity it is bringing to the plight (or blight) of Mountain Top Removal in Appalachia. Through it all, she retained a sense of humor. When we were lobbying Congress in DC, she wore a tee shirt I threatened to nab when she took it off. It said, "Save an Endangered Hillbilly - Stop Mountaintop Removal!" No one deserves the honor more than this native of Bob White, WV! 3. Debra, I would bet if you made T-shirts with that slogan on it and sold them, you would sell out right real quick. There are more people than not here in the mountain state who are against MTR. I, for one would like to have a few.
