Just after Christmas in 2003, his dad fell and hit his head. He was taken to an emergency room, and they found an ulcer on his rear. They admitted him for the ulcer (turns out he was also septic), after a week, he had to be transferred to a nursing home because of the type of care that he needed. Special bed (it was a air bed with sand in it to prevent bed sores), 21 days later he passed. It was horrible on my husband who believe that they killed him. Her & dad had already given the homeplace to my sibling, but I have no regrets. She got to stay close to her loveones, and didnt have to stay among strangers, in a nursing home. I hope I have some kids who will do likewise by me, when my time comes !
