I am wondering whether someone can point me to an entry on the 1930 census. I am looking for Isaac Eubank who, according to the search index at Ancestry.com, was in Logan County. I am not a member of Ancestry, though their index says he was in the county and should be listed on film roll 2540. I have twice paged through the census on HeritageQuest, but I can not find him. Is anyone able to tell me what page he is on? According to the information I have seen, the name may be spelled Ewbank. Isaac would be about 58 years old and would have a wife named Georgia and a son named Isaac, Jr. who would be about six. Thank you, Larry Dickerson
HI! on Ancestry it shows: 1930 Logan, Logan Co., WV page 3 of 39, District 16.....Enumeration Dist #23-16 / Supervisor's Dist. #10 Sheet No. 2A / Page 2 5696... but it shows no specific film roll #...sorry. Ewbanks, Isaac L. age 57 VA VA VA Georgie H. 38 VA VA VA Isaac L. 6 VA VA VA it states they are renters paying $10 per month / that Isaac is working as a C&O railroad agent. That he first married at age 23 and that Georgie first married at age 29. By this i would assume that they have been married for approx. 9 years and that Georgie is Isaac's second (?) wife. hope this helps some.... let me know if i can be of any help in the future !
