Gloria, I am just searching. I am working on my Bailey line (on my mothers side) and have been neglecting the Davidson part (my dad's side) My great grandparents, several times removed, John Sansom married Elizabeth Davidson in 1797. I now find that the Davidson's were close friends with the Baileys and that my Elizabeth is a daugher of William Davidson, son of John G Davidson. I was told this book may be helpful. I did go to Amazon and put a pre-order out for the book and I will see what happens. Maybe some one will sell the copy they have. It all gets complicated sometimes. I will keep looking. I do know there is a copy in the National Archives in DC and I could go visit that some day. I live 20 miles out of DC but I just dread going as its such a vast place and will take all day to find what I am looking for. I still work so it would mean taking a day off work too. I would also like to look at some ship manifest to see when John Sansom came from England. He has been a mystery as all information sources prior to his marriage have dried up.
