    1. [WVLOGAN] Christian Family cemeteries on Elk Creek, near Christian and Emmet, also a Bull Hollow one

    3. Is there someone out there who can help remind me where to find 2 family cemeteries, largely containing folks with the last name, Christian, (on old Christian family land) on Elk Creek, in, as I recall, Logan county, by the town, Christian, and around Emmet. There was said to be 2 of them. I went to only one at the time, and you had to go around the belt that ran to the mine there, but it had an American flag on a tall flagpole. It also had slave burials to the right side of it, one marked by an engraved grind or mill stone and also contained the grave of Byron Christian, 1831-1915. One or the other of the cemeteries was 5 or more miles in on this mostly coal mine road, alongside of a RR track. Thank you to anyone who can help. While I'm asking, has anyone ever surveyed a family cemetery that became an "everyone" cemetery on Bull Hollow to the south side of Buffalo Creek Rd, between Kistler and Crown? That was originally a White family cemetery, descending from James Noah White, 1848-1927, although I think he is buried elsewhere. It contains some Clark's, a Burgess or two, as I remember, with maybe 25 graves in a fenced area. Then there are maybe a hundred or more going up the hillside, some modestly marked, some with very big and expensive markers. I always wondered if some people are searching and searching for kin and there they are, looking over us all from that hill and hollow. <: <: <: <:<: <: <: <:<: <: <: <:<: <: <: <:<: <: <: <: "Dear Lord, give me patience, and give it to me now!"
