Nancy was there and spoke on the medical aspects of Melungeons. We didn't stay and listen because she had spoke at our genealogy meeting on the same thing. Good luck trying to figure out your line. I'm not sure if I have any, but my grandmother on my Dad's side may have been. I always thought she was an Indian, but I'm not sure now. She was a Toler and her Mom was a Blankenship. I haven't seen either of those names. But it is still interesting. I didn't see anyone that I know from the Logan Genealogy Society there and they were one of the sponsers. Was Nancy in a wheelchair when you were working with her? If not, she is now. I understand because of her medical condition. The wheelchair is for an injured foot - nothing to do with her FMF.
