    1. [WVLOGAN] Cure For Bee Stings
    2. Hello to the Logan List; Dallas Baldwin, formerly of Blair, Logan Co. WV, sent me a forwarded text, telling about a penny applied to a bee sting will dilute the toxins, and prevent swelling . It seems the copper in the penny does the work. He says to tape the penny over the sting for about an hour. Always have some pennys on hand during the Summer months ! Shelby

    3. Shelby, I had to laugh when I re-read your cure for a bee sting. A few nights ago, my son and my uncle got into a yellow jackets nest while weed eating at my grandmothers. I am not sure about Bob, but Chris got it about 5 or 6 times, one of which was on his eye. I can just picture us running around trying to find enough pennies to apply to the stings... We used the old standby - baking soda. Have a good day.
