Edward Friend Towler and Emogene Satterlee. Emogene was sister of John Abram Satterlee who married Nancy Jane Hager, daughter of George Washington Hager and Eliza Ann Baisden. George W. Hager was son of Maj John Morgan Hager and Elizabeth Jane Miller. Eliza Ann Baisden was daughter of Joseph Smith Baisden and Lucinda Osborn. The Satterlees were born in Michigan. The Hagers and Baisdens were born in Va/Wv. Edward Friend Towler's parents were born in Va. If memory serves me right, Edward's ggrandmother was from Va and her surname was Friend. I have not gone any further back nor have I followed any of the other children.
