My great grandmother,Louisa J. Workman, was again mentioned 10 years later, in the 1860 Boone Co. census. She was age 11, staying withe her grandmother (Jane Moore Workman). Nancy, her mom, was later married to Isaac Workman, and the couple had a dau named Josephine. So about all the accurate info I can find is through Josephine, her half sister.Josephine(b. 1858 ).Josephine is buried at the Hager/Elkins cemetery on Hewitts Creek. She has a grave marker showing her birth & death dates. I know there were many Ferrells on Pond Fork,Boone co.Wv, So it seems likely Nancy was a Ferrell. Great grandmother LouisaJ. is likely buried there too; but the old section has overgrown with vegetation. Louisa J. was married to James H. Elkins, in the year 1887. They had no children. If only Nancy's parents had ben given names, instead of initials, then my search would be over. Shelby ************************************** Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products.
