Thanks to this email, i was able to find the name and parents of Mary Hatfield's second spouse: Robert E. Lee Simpkins, bn. Sept 1875...who was the s/o Joseph Simpkins [bc 1843] and Betty Hatfield [bc 1836] the 1880 census showing R.E. Lee Simpkins can be found at Ancestry or at the LDS site www.familysearch.org in the district of Magnolia, LOGAN Co. WV. the confusing part was there was another R.E. Simpkins {who was known as ELWOOD }, s/o Samuel Simpkins and Harriet Maynard living in the same area, with both R.E. Simpkins being just months apart in birth. But the R.
