Hi, list peoples Well, I finally took my Blankenship line back to apparently the first one in <America. This is not my work, but is very well documented. Thanks go to James <Warner Blankenship and all those who have worked so hard on the research and <documentation from before James Blankenship b 10 Oct 1823 Ky, d 3 Nov 1889, <Bond Co., Illinois. James was the ggrandfather of Eldon Emsley Blankenship who married my Mother's third cousin, Lois Evadne Elam. Hudson's father, Jesse was born in Chesterfield Co and married in Halifax Co. and lived in Bedford Co., Va. In 1806 they moved to Ky. He was a Rev War soldier and a friend of Daniel Boone. Three generations on back takes it to Ralph Blankenship . Since I don't know the old names of the counties that became WV., I am not sure if mine are related to the Wv Blankenships. I sure hope I got that all right. When doing all the begats, I sometimes get lost. Even with the records right in front of me. rofl. G.
