Allen Browning b 1878 was my ggrandfather,( his father was David Browning b 1855 married to Mary Chafin b 1852. Allen was married to Emily Ellis b 1880d/o James Monerville Ellis b.1850 and Polly Stone b 1848. My grandmother was Mina Pearl Browning b. 1901 of Stirrat W.Va. Pearl was married to Ulysses Floyd Burgess b1889. Floyds dad was "Pribble Burgess" I have never found a Pribble in any documention, so I hit a blank there...Floyds parents were never legally married, Floyds mother was Polly "Maggie" Chafin b 1865...her dad was Christopher Chafin b 1839, mother Mariah Jane Curry b 1844..
