Anita McClung Fayette County, WV Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Floyd Asbury OAK HILL — Jacqueline “Jackie” Floyd Asbury, 44, of Oak Hill, died Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at her home following a sudden illness. Born June 8, 1961, at Holden, she was a daughter of George Donald Floyd of Robson and the late Mary Rose Adkins Floyd. Mrs. Asbury was an administrative assistant to Southern Appalachian Labor School and a former member of the Healing Water Ministries. Survivors include her father, George Donald Floyd of Robson; stepmother, Juanita Floyd of Robson; her companion, Rick Petry; seven sisters, Kathryn F. South of Oak Hill, Debra A. Canterbury of Lenore, Kari S. Gaddy of York, S.C., Shelia G. Keith of Oak Hill, Sherry Brown of Kileen, Texas, Terri Cornell of Maple Fork and Yvonne Elswick of Oak Hill; and three brothers, Donald R. Floyd of Evergreen, Va., William J. Floyd of Robson and Gregory J. Floyd of Oak Hill. Service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, with the Rev. William J. Floyd and the Rev. Donald R. Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Monetary donation may be made to the family. Pallbearers will be nephews.
