Earl's father William Floyd Toler was a son of Floyd M. Toler and Matilda Belcher, and Floyd M. Toler Sr. VIRGINIA BEACH - Earl M. Toler Sr., 77, of the 3300 block of Lakecrest Road, went to be with the Lord May 3, 2006, in his home. A native of Welch, W.Va., he was the son of the late William Floyd and Mary Ellen Milam Toler. He retired after 26 years service with the U.S. Navy and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. Surviving are his wife, Aileen Justice Toler; a daughter, Barbara A. Blanton and her husband Ross of Raleigh, N.C.; a son, Earl M. Toler Jr. and his wife Ann of Chesapeake; a stepdaughter, Tricia M. Bernstein and a stepson, William E. Bernstein, both of Chesapeake; four grandchildren, Melody, Earl III, Ethan and Aubrey; a sister, Annabelle Brewster of Welch; three brothers, Robert E. Toler of Lynchburg, William E. Toler and his wife Esther and Gilbert L. Toler and his wife Betty, all of Welch; and two great-grandchildren, Zacharie and Mason. The family will receive friends at Tabernacle Baptist Church Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. with the Rev. James Baker and Pastor Dale Burden officiating. A graveside committal will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 717 N.
