Vanessa, I would have to agree. I have also noticed that Daniel and David have been interchangeable like Christopher and Christian or Isham and Isom and I am sure there are others. Joel, I've noticed that the names Daniel and David can look almost exactly alike when hand written in the censuses. Rebecca E.'s husband usually went by his middle name Kemper, and any other Kempers I've known about were David Kemper. I assume their namesake was David Kemper (1807-1884), a Methodist circuit riding preacher from Ohio. What do you think? Vanessa ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joel Hager" <joel.hager@us.army.mil> .....That would be Daniel Kemper Toler would it not? I have found the family of John Dolliver Toler in the 1900 census and there is no daughter Arminda Toler so she may be the d/o Daniel Kemper and Rebecca E. (Bailey) Toler as opposed to what is listed on the marriage record. Joel ============================== Find your ancestors in the Birth, Marriage and Death Records.
