A few years back, a lady named Shelby Fleming Phillips wrote a book on the Baisdens.Price was $40., and worth every penny.About 200 pages of The Baisdens & Allied familys. It includes people up to 1930. So I have all my moms people and my dads ( James Burgess book) at hand when I need them; without the worry of computer crashes, etc.I used some for gifts. Mrs Phillips lives at Williamson,WV.I have lost her address & phone #, but you can contact Mr. Adkins at the Mingo County Genalogy site for further info. The title of her book is: David Branham And his Descendants. Oh, goodness. My mother descends from the Branhams of Virginia. This means my Indiana-born mother and West Virginia-born father who met in Georgia were probably related. I'd like to obtain a copy of the book. Is everyone aware of the web site for BooksWeOwn? It's a volunteer site and the set up procedure is a bit intricate and hard to follow through the legalese, but thorough. I've found the volunteers and the response time are quick and complete.
