    3. Researchers, I don't know if anyone is aware of this information, but I ran across a lawsuit that was filed against about 100 people in Logan, Kanawha, Boone counties in West Virginia about July 1, 1859 to seize over 500,000 acres of land from the land owners. It was filed in the District Court of the United States for the Western District of Virginia by a Josiah Randall of Pennsylvania. This suit named Lawsons, Allen's, Brownings, Blankenships, Vances, and countless of other surnames. This appears to have gone on for at least a year. If anyone needs a surname look up let me know. 3. Carole This is the second charge against them, the people that sued on this second count were from France. The man from Pennsylvania and the people from France wants them ejected off the land. They are saying all of these people are trespassers. Abner Vance. 3. Hello K. My husband is related to the Lawsons. Can you tell me which Lawsons were named in this suit? What was the outcome?
