    3. Gail and other list members, This letter really got to me. Your description and your feelings are very real. Please send this letter to Gov. Manchin. Here is his e-mail address. Governor@WVGov.org I was tempted to just forward it myself, but I think it is Gail's decision to send it. I sent him my own e-mail asking him to speak up for those who were afraid of the Coal Barons, and to put an end to the destruction. Thanks for your insight Gail. Through your eyes and skill at putting your observations into words, I am sure you have empowered others to take some action. And if they touch our family cemetary, White Oak,where my mother and both sets of grandparents are buried, and many, other relatives for generations, I don't know how I will deal with it. Exactly how do you deal with having generations of your relatives removed from their graves so they can blast the mountain into tiny pieces? How do you put that into any kind of rational perspective? It's crazy, it's totally insane. They have already blasted all around the cemetery, bought and burned my parent's home and my mamaw's and papaw's houses as well.Much of the terrain of our little town, the railroad, the creek, the hollers are all completely defaced, houses of course are all gone and our lower end of Blair( Midway) is unrecognizable. Rick's Aunt's house is one of the few that still stands. I am glad it is there because I remember it from childhood and it reminds me of what Blair used to be like. The scope of the defacement creates a sense of shock as even the most stable geographic features( mountains, roads, railroad tracks, bridges, houses, etc) are all gone. It's as if your childhood hometown never existed even as you stand in the exact spot where it should be.
