My dad's first cousin Lucy Clark-Adams(Chester) died today. Lucy was the daughter of Joe Clark. Joe was a brother to my paternal grandfather Van Buren Clark. She had been in the nursing home at Logan, W.V. She formerly lived at 21 Holden, then Mt Gay, W.V. Lucy died, and will be at the JAMES FUNERAL HOME in Aracoma. Lucy Was 88 years old and in the Hospital at her passing. She had pneumonia but seemed to be getting better. Rosemary called me this morning at 10:30 o'clock. She had children Chester jr(Laddie) at Man, Rosemary at Charleston, Joyce, Huntington, Charlotte and Re I believe still in Ohio last I knew. Lucy was my mother's best girlfriend long before mom and dad married. We were close families. Lucy was the last. I wish I could go, but the price of gas, I just cannot. I have wonderful thoughts of our families closeness. Judi
Judi, I am so sorry to hear about Lucy. The children of James Lewis Clark and Sarah Ann Baisden were my mother's 3rd cousins.
